In the Studio
My studio isn’t quiet. Music plays non-stop and two dogs are always playing at my feet. Their names are Winston and Emmy. Both are golden retrievers. Winston is the classic golden…with reddish/gold fur. Emmy, on the other hand, is pretty much all white. Oddly enough, they are both naturally attracted by the sound of paint hitting canvas. Go figure.

Winston feels like he has a leg up in the studio because he has already been immortalized in paint. Emmy is still waiting for her chance.
